Mommy insting. Just protecting her baby. Mama cat probably read doggo's approach to its baby as too excited and stepped in to stop doggo. Doggo was just trying to get kitten to play. Cat was sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you but don't scare my baby. Mama cat apologises right after. I mean, the cat obviously meant to hurt the dog to protect its kitten, then went back to normal when everything was good. Whole movie just happend in 10 second
